  1. James MitchellAegisCloud0:04turn 0ASR 94%

Alright, I think we've got everyone on — Rachel, Tom, Jordan, Kevin, you're all here?

  2. Rachel TorresAegisCloud0:11turn 1ASR 88%

    Yeah, I'm here.

  3. Tom BradleyAegisCloud0:13turn 2ASR 94%

    Present.

  4. Jordan WhitfieldAegisCloud0:16turn 3ASR 89%

    Yep, on.

  5. Kevin O'BrienAegisCloud0:19turn 4ASR 94%

Here, sorry, just pulling up my notes.

  6. James MitchellAegisCloud0:22turn 5ASR 91%

No worries. Okay, so, the reason I called this is — we've had three deals in the last two weeks where SentinelShield came up pretty aggressively in late-stage conversations, and I want to make sure we're all aligned on how we're positioning against them going forward.

  7. Rachel TorresAegisCloud0:38turn 6ASR 89%

Is this primarily on the Detect side or is it across the board?

  8. James MitchellAegisCloud0:43turn 7ASR 92%

Mostly Detect, honestly. Which is — and I'll be candid here — not a surprise given what happened in March.

  9. Tom BradleyAegisCloud0:51turn 8ASR 93%

    Right, yeah. The outage.

  10. James MitchellAegisCloud0:54turn 9ASR 89%

Exactly. SentinelShield's reps are apparently going into these late-stage conversations with specific talking points about platform reliability, and at least one prospect — Hartfield Manufacturing — mentioned it directly. They said something like, 'we heard Aegis had some significant downtime recently.'

  11. Rachel TorresAegisCloud1:08turn 10ASR 90%

Okay so they're actively using it. That's, um, that's not entirely surprising but it's still frustrating to hear.

  12. James MitchellAegisCloud1:16turn 11ASR 88%

Tom, can you give us a quick rundown of where we stand on the March incident from a technical remediation standpoint? Because when I'm in front of customers I want to be accurate, I don't want to oversell what we've done.

  13. Tom BradleyAegisCloud1:31turn 12ASR 92%

Sure, yeah. So — the root cause was a single point of failure in the event ingestion pipeline. When the primary node went down, the failover didn't trigger the way it was supposed to, and that created a cascading failure across the processing layer. Total visibility loss was roughly six hours.

  14. Kevin O'BrienAegisCloud1:51turn 13ASR 97%

Six hours is a long time in threat monitoring.

  15. Tom BradleyAegisCloud1:55turn 14ASR 91%

It is. I'm not going to sugarcoat it. But — and this is important — what we've done since then is we've implemented redundant processing nodes across all three availability zones, and we've added a circuit breaker pattern that will isolate a failing component before it can cascade. So the architecture is fundamentally different now.

  16. Jordan WhitfieldAegisCloud2:15turn 15ASR 92%

Is that live? Like is that in production right now?

  17. Tom BradleyAegisCloud2:19turn 16ASR 88%

Yes, it went into production — I want to say March 29th? March 30th. Kevin, you were closer to that, do you remember the exact date?

  18. Kevin O'BrienAegisCloud2:29turn 17ASR 89%

March 28th, I think. I can double-check but yeah, it's been in production for a couple weeks now.

  19. James MitchellAegisCloud2:37turn 18ASR 90%

Good, okay. So we have a real story to tell there. The question is how do we tell it without it coming across as defensive.

  20. Rachel TorresAegisCloud2:46turn 19ASR 89%

I think the framing matters a lot. There's a difference between 'we had a problem and here's how we fixed it' versus 'yeah we had a thing but it's fine now.' The first one actually builds trust if you deliver it right.

  21. Kevin O'BrienAegisCloud3:01turn 20ASR 95%

Agreed. And honestly, the transparency angle could work in our favor. SentinelShield isn't going to talk about their incidents — and they've had them, I know they had a pretty bad false positive storm in Q4 last year that their customers were not happy about.

  22. James MitchellAegisCloud3:18turn 21ASR 88%

Do we have anything documented on that? Like can we point to something?

  23. Kevin O'BrienAegisCloud3:23turn 22ASR 90%

There were some posts on Reddit and a couple of G2 reviews that mentioned it. Nothing official obviously. I wouldn't lead with it but it's useful context if someone brings up our reliability.

  24. Rachel TorresAegisCloud3:36turn 23ASR 96%

Yeah I'd be careful with that. If we start pointing fingers at competitor incidents based on Reddit posts it could look a little — I don't know, thin.

  25. Kevin O'BrienAegisCloud3:47turn 24ASR 90%

No that's fair, that's a fair point. I'm not saying lead with it, just — have it in your back pocket.

  26. James MitchellAegisCloud3:55turn 25ASR 94%

Okay. Let me shift gears slightly — Jordan, you've been doing some work on how Comply v2 fits into the competitive picture. Since we literally just launched three days ago, I'm curious what you're seeing.

  27. Jordan WhitfieldAegisCloud4:08turn 26ASR 97%

Yeah, so — Comply v2 is actually a pretty strong differentiator right now because SentinelShield and VaultEdge both have compliance features but they're more of a bolt-on. Like you can tell they didn't design around compliance workflows from the ground up. What we launched on April 7th — the on-demand reporting for SOC 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA, ISO 27001 — that's all native, it's integrated directly with the detection and identity layers.

  28. Kevin O'BrienAegisCloud4:34turn 27ASR 90%

That cross-module integration piece is real. I've been in demos where that's genuinely surprised people.

  29. Jordan WhitfieldAegisCloud4:41turn 28ASR 89%

Right, and from a design standpoint the report generation flow — you can go from selecting a framework to a full exportable report in, um, something like four clicks. That's not an accident, we spent a lot of time on that. CyberNova, for comparison, their compliance workflow requires like three separate configuration steps just to set up a report template.

  30. Rachel TorresAegisCloud5:03turn 29ASR 95%

Is the CyberNova comparison something we can use publicly or is that more of an internal thing?

  31. Jordan WhitfieldAegisCloud5:10turn 30ASR 94%

Internal, at least for now. We don't have it in any sanctioned competitive collateral yet. But I'm working with marketing to get a competitive battlecard updated — hopefully by end of next week.

  32. James MitchellAegisCloud5:22turn 31ASR 91%

That would be really useful. Right now I'm kind of winging it when prospects bring up CyberNova.

  33. James MitchellAegisCloud5:29turn 32ASR 90%

Okay so let me just capture some action items here. Tom — is there any chance we can get a one-pager or some kind of technical summary of the March remediation that we can share with prospects? Not a post-mortem, more of a... forward-looking architecture overview?

  34. Tom BradleyAegisCloud5:46turn 33ASR 90%

I can put something together. Give me until end of next week. I'll keep it high-level enough that it's accessible but specific enough that it's credible.

  35. James MitchellAegisCloud5:57turn 34ASR 95%

Perfect. And Rachel, for Hartfield specifically — do you think there's still a path there or did SentinelShield lock that one up?

  36. Rachel TorresAegisCloud6:05turn 35ASR 97%

I think there's still a path. Their procurement timeline got pushed to May so we have some runway. I'd want to get Kevin in on a technical call with their infrastructure team and lean into the Comply v2 story since they're mid-SOC 2 audit right now.

  37. Kevin O'BrienAegisCloud6:22turn 36ASR 97%

Oh that's — yeah, that's actually a really good angle. If they're mid-audit and we can show them on-demand SOC 2 reporting, that's not abstract, that's an immediate pain point.

  38. Rachel TorresAegisCloud6:33turn 37ASR 92%

Exactly. I'll set something up for next week if Kevin you're available.

  39. Kevin O'BrienAegisCloud6:38turn 38ASR 97%

Yeah, put something on my calendar, I'll make it work.

  40. James MitchellAegisCloud6:42turn 39ASR 94%

Okay, I think that's a solid foundation. Jordan, ping me when the battlecard is closer to done. Tom, I'll watch for that architecture doc. And Rachel and Kevin — let me know how the Hartfield call goes. Anything else before we drop?

  41. Tom BradleyAegisCloud6:58turn 40ASR 94%

    Nothing from me.

  42. Jordan WhitfieldAegisCloud7:01turn 41ASR 96%

    I'm good.

  43. Rachel TorresAegisCloud7:04turn 42ASR 93%

    Same. Good call, everyone.

  44. James MitchellAegisCloud7:06turn 43ASR 90%

    Alright, thanks all. Talk soon.
